At Signal we’ve been running Apache Cassandra in production since late 2011. One of the major challenges we faced was making our data available globally. To do this we use a multi-region Cassandra deployment to take care of the heavy lifting, allowing us to stay focused on building a great product. in this presentation we'll cover the use cases we were solving for, data model we settled on, tools used and lessons learned along the way.
